Interested in becoming Catholic?
Have you been attending Mass, but never taken the step to become Catholic? Were you Baptized Catholic as a child but never received the other Sacraments of Initiation (Reconciliation, Eucharist & Confirmation) and would now like to become a fully-initiated Catholic? Were you Baptized in another Christian faith and would now like to find out more about the Catholic Church and receiving the Sacraments? Do you know friends or family who might be interested in learning about becoming a Catholic Christian?

RCIA is the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and is the process for an Adult to become Catholic. RCIA participants learn about the Catholic faith by understanding Catholic beliefs and experiencing the Church’s liturgical life over an appropriate period, and then are able to make a lasting commitment to the Catholic Church before receiving the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil.

¿Ha estado asistiendo a misa, pero nunca dio el paso para convertirse en miembro de la Iglesia Católica? ¿Fue usted bautizado como católico cuando era niño pero nunca recibió los otros sacramentos de iniciación Reconciliación (Confesión), Primera Comunión y Confirmación) y ahora le gustaría completar sus sacramentos de iniciación? ¿Fue bautizado en otra fe cristiana y ahora le gustaría saber más sobre la Iglesia Católica y recibir los sacramentos? ¿Conoce amigos o familiares que puedan estar interesados en la fe Católica?

RICA es el Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos y es el proceso a seguir para que un Adulto ingrese a la fe católica. Los participantes de RICA aprenden sobre la fe católica al comprender las creencias católicas y experimentar la vida litúrgica de la Iglesia durante un período apropiado, y luego pueden hacer un compromiso duradero con la Iglesia Católica antes de recibir los sacramentos de iniciación en la Vigilia Pascual.

RCIC is Rite of Christian Initiation for Children and is the process for children who are 6 and over. If your child is under the age of 6, they can be baptized without preparation. (Info here).
