Holy Week, the final week of Lent, begins on Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter. Holy Week is a time when Catholics gather to remember and participate in the Passion of Jesus Christ. The Passion was the final period of Christ’s life in Jerusalem. It spans from when He arrived in Jerusalem to when He was crucified.
La Semana Santa, la última semana de Cuaresma, comienza el Domingo de Ramos, el domingo antes de Pascua. La Semana Santa es un momento en el que los católicos se reúnen para recordar y participar en la Pasión de Jesucristo. La Pasión fue el período final de la vida de Cristo en Jerusalén. Se extiende desde que llegó a Jerusalén hasta que fue crucificado.
Good Friday is one of the darkest days of the year for Catholics. It covers Jesus’ arrest, trial, and crucifixion. His death and burial are also memorialized. These events are commemorated in the Celebration of the Lord's Passion and veneration of the cross. This is not a Mass, since this is the only day of the year when no Mass is celebrated anywhere in the world. Join us for a communion service with the veneration of the Cross.

Holy Saturday remembers the day which Jesus spent in the grave resting. The Easter Vigil takes place at sunset on Holy Saturday outside the church, where an Easter fire is kindled and the Paschal candle is blessed and then lit. This Paschal candle will be used throughout the season of Easter, remaining in the sanctuary of the church and throughout the coming year at baptisms and funerals, reminding all that Christ is our life and light. After the conclusion of the Liturgy of the Word, the water of the baptismal font is solemnly blessed and any catechumens and candidates for full communion are initiated into the church.
El Sábado Santo recuerda el día que pasó Jesús en la tumba descansando. La Vigilia Pascual comienza al atardecer del Sábado Santo fuera de la iglesia, donde se enciende un fuego pascual y se bendice y luego se enciende el Cirio Pascual. Este cirio pascual se utilizará durante todo el tiempo de Pascua, permaneciendo en el santuario de la iglesia y durante todo el año que viene en bautismos y funerales, recordando a todos que Cristo es nuestra vida y luz. Easter Sunday or the Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord is a celebration of our participation in Christ's Resurrection which brings us from the death of sin to a life of grace. ‘Alleluia’, which has not been used in any of the Church services during Lent reappears as a victory cry. This year we will be having Masses at two locations, our church location and at Monteleone Meadows.
El Domingo Pascual o Domingo de la Resurrección del Señor es una celebración de nuestra participación en la Resurrección de Cristo que nos lleva de la muerte del pecado a una vida de gracia. "Aleluya", que no se ha utilizado en ninguno de los servicios de la Iglesia durante la Cuaresma, reaparece como un grito de victoria.
